Military Origins.
Zack Blasetti first encountered frontier AI serving in Afghanistan with the U.S. Army, when he saw a C-RAM intercept an incoming rocket — an experience that ignited his mission to redefine the limits of lifesaving technologies.
Founder & Operator.
He co-founded BlackAcre Group (DDTC-registered brokers) and ASR Global, then served as interim CPO at Cloudastructure (NASDAQ: CSAI), and has successfully guided multiple AI startups into their core market sectors, partnerships, and exits.
Result Driven Investment Leadership.
As Strategic Investment and BD Director at Mitsui & Co.’s Silicon Valley office, Zack led $10M–$200M bets in cybersecurity, AI, and life sciences. He forged Mitsui’s partnership with NVIDIA and led the Tokyo-1 deal - Japan’s first generative AI supercomputer for AI drug discovery. Zack also spearheaded MUSA’s $2B+ life sciences strategic investment task force.

BV isn’t a traditional fund. We invest independent capital and invite a select group of global partners (leading enterprises, sovereigns, banks, top tech operators) into each deal or partnership.
We add a unique strategic layer to any syndicate. With deep domain expertise and large complex deal-making experience, we quickly bridge the gap between startups, venture investors, and corporate partners — aligning interests and structuring win-win deals. Our involvement also de-risks the investment for others, signaling that the opportunity has been rigorously vetted and will have our global support behind it.
Unstoppable drive. Teams who see HPC/AI as more than a hype cycle—and who won’t quit when it gets gritty.
We bring HPC know-how, global policy insight, and enterprise introductions that close mega contracts. If you’re stuck in regulatory hell or need a powerhouse pilot partner, we handle it.
We operate under the radar by design. Instead of public logos, we prefer to connect you directly with founders or partners who can vouch for our impact.
We measure success by the lasting impact our ventures have, beyond just the financial metrics. Did the company create a new market, fortify critical infrastructure, or meaningfully improve lives? If so, that’s true success. The financial returns are simply validation that doing the right thing also made business sense.
We see regulatory complexities as strategic frontiers, not roadblocks. Navigating compliance, sovereign sensitivities, or data governance can unlock massive competitive advantages — especially for deep tech. Our team has deep expertise in turning these regulatory challenges into strategic opportunities. If your vision is ambitious enough, regulation isn’t friction. It’s leverage.
No, and we never will. We co-invest alongside top funds, adding strategic capital, HPC/regulatory expertise, and non-dilutive structures they may not offer. Our only aim is to help teams — and their existing VCs — scale game-changing AI infrastructure. When tier-one VCs are already in, we bring leverage, not friction. We are very selective on which VCs we work with.
My conviction is that HPC is moving beyond just chasing exaflops or quantum breakthroughs. We’re already seeing AI+HPC combinations unlock new markets (like genomics and autonomous infrastructure) and achieve once-impossible scientific leaps. In the next decade, high-performance computing will become the backbone of economic growth and civilization-scale innovation.
